What the Poke in Leduc Towne Centre offers a no-fuss spot to enjoy fresh, customizable poke bowls right in the heart of town. This restaurant leans into quick, straightforward service with a focus on generous portion sizes—many locals find themselves with leftovers after a single bowl, which makes it a solid choice for both lunch and dinner.

The menu is built around the poke bowl concept, featuring options like the Supreme with three scoops of protein or lighter choices such as the Chill with just one scoop. Beyond build-your-own bowls, there are thoughtfully composed options like the California Bowl and Classic Tuna, as well as wraps that mix vibrant ingredients such as avocado, seaweed salad, and teriyaki sauce. The chicken and mango bowl stands out as a popular favorite, appreciated for being filling and well-flavored.

Inside, the space is on the cozier side, with limited seating, which nudges many toward takeout or quick stops rather than lingering meals. Its location next to the RBC bank branch makes it convenient for grabbing food during a work break or after errands. The atmosphere feels bright and casual, appealing to those seeking fresh, Japanese-inspired fare without the formality of a sit-down sushi restaurant.

This spot is best suited for people looking for a wholesome, protein-packed meal that moves at a comfortable pace. Whether you're dining solo or with coworkers, it serves well as a satisfying lunch option, especially when you want something lighter but still substantial. The service tends to be friendly and expedited, which pairs well with the lunch-hour rush or an easy dinner pick-up.

Visitors should consider timing their visit to avoid peak meal times if they want to sit, given the limited space. Otherwise, What the Poke fits neatly into the local dining scene as a fresh, flavorful choice for poke lovers and those curious about trying bowls that balance traditional Japanese ingredients with a customizable approach.

This was our first visit here. We each ordered the chicken & mango with rice base. The portion is big! Neither one of us could finish our meal so we have leftovers for tomorrow. The food was fresh and tasty. This is now our favorite Japanese place to go. Pick-up might be best for most since the eating area is very limited. Try it out, it's right beside RBC.

Colleague and I tried this for the first time the other day and we were very happy! I had the tuna and salmon, coworker had the chicken and mango. High quality fish, great flavours, and portions so big we had enough for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back!
